Bell's Palsy, Synkinesis. Youthful Facial Muscles, White Teeth

My Bell's palsy went over 12 weeks' time which means a permanent condition called Synkinesis. This condition is utter suck, making the eye and mouth want to move together. Luckily, with effort and exercises the mouth no longer wants to do what the mouth is doing (and they call this permanent!), but the lower half of the face struggles for coordination, with the lips being rather paralyzed and open-mouth smile being a snarl, the chin muscles looking like twitchy mashed potatoes.

This practice at first was hard because my lips would not seal tight enough to hold a drinking straw, so I used my fingers to help keep them shut. Within a week of doing this once each morning, no more finger use, lips seeled.

Afterwards for a long time I would feel the jaw/neck/cheek/lips/chin muscles invigorated. I would do an open-mouth smile and instead of being a disjointed effort with lack of coordination that was natural, it felt like a natural smile I had all my life.

I've been doing this for some time now and the improvements have been amazing and the effects on jaw and neck rather wonderful side benefit.

I hope this helps others.

I keep a huge thing of coconut oil around, putting some in mason jars for lotion. I don't like putting chemicals into my skin, so I use coconut oil. When I put it on my face, I mix it with Cereve peptides and castor oil. I use coconut oil for cooking. You can make a toothpaste of it with a trace of baking soda (not too much it's abrasive) and peppermint oil, I mix it with used coffee grounds for a body scrub in the shower.

NOTE: This oil turns liquid when warm, so if you're home gets warm in the summertime, put it in the fridge if you want it to harden again and give you a challenge.
